At Translash Media, I worked on the animated shorts for their podcast Anti-Trans Hate Machine, which explores the impact of figures like Donald Trump and the far-right on the LGBTQIA+ community. My role involved storyboarding, creating character designs, and editing three animated shorts that brought these powerful narratives to life through motion graphics and animation.
Below you can find early sketches and photos from the 3 videos. I discussed with the Translash Team about the style they wanted, which was a comic book type style. To confirm what they were looking for, I created a Pinterest board to share
After we settled on a style, I sent them over a few drawings and sketches to see what they were happy with, and they were more than happy with the result,
When the team provided me with the script, I created storyboards via google slides, and discussed with the team what the movement and scenes would look like via ZOOM, followed by an animatic the next week.
We repeated this process with all 3 videos until we arrived at the final product.
